I think he liked it!
Gideon asked for a suit "like Daddy's," but had to settle for a few ties and a shirt. One day he told us, "Daddy, when you're gone, I'm going to be the preacher at this church." Then Gabe added, "And I'm going to drive this van."
Here's Pappy opening his bird feeder. Squirrel proof, of course.
Grammy got new slippers.
Uncle Corey had a great time!
Grammy's Christmas Table. That's her fine china, it's over 50 years old, I believe. The meal was scrumptious.
My Brother Brad and his family came up later in the day and there was just enough light left to get in some sledding.
After the kids warmed up with some Hot Chocolate they made Ginger bread houses. Ethan and Gideon were a team.
Becca and Gabe were a team.
Grammy was the judge.... I think she declared a tie.
After a light supper, containing things like: muenster cheese, ring bologna, deer bologna, deer sticks (similiar to a slim jim, only better), chips and dip, pretzles, Christmas cookies....a Nerf Gun war broke out!!
Then it was time for the annual Scrabble Game. We tend to obsess about this game. It is taken VERY seriously in our family. A game can last for hours. Mom tries to keep a "no starting a game after 9pm" rule, because it's too hard to think after midnight!! We played in teams and Pappy and Ethan won. Becca and I were second by 5 points.
Becca, Missy, Brad and Ethan.

Heidi has the same play dou kitchen set that Gabe has!! I'm so glad you got to spend time with your fam.
Heidi wants to know if they ate the gingerbread houses!
Gabe loved the playdough kitchen! No, Heidi we wouldn't let them eat the houses. 1. too pretty to consume. 2. bought them the 24th on clearance for $3... prob stale big time! 3. Gabe licked his fingers and ate the candies the whole time anyway. 4. too much finger spreading of icing. 5. YUCK !
