A Day in the Life: Gideon

Gideon tells me all about what he did in preschool on Tuesday.

I'm going to miss these preschool days.

The Making of a Snowman and the first shot of 2010

The view from Mom and Dad's was amazing.

This is the back yard.

The fluffy snow would finally pack on New Year's Eve. Earlier snows were just too fluffy.

Reilly showed Gabe that you could eat the stuff.... yuck...

Our master piece.

I think you can tell who helped build the snowman and who just stepped out for a picture with it. :)

All done. Broccoli eyes, Carrot nose, and stone mouth. ... lovely. I should mention here that when we inserted that carrot Blake said, "Just watch and see who is the first person to take a bite off that carrot." We chuckled and went in for hot chocolate.

My Daddy and Me.... if ya can't tell.

So here it is! The first shot of 2010 taken right after midnight... or close to it.

Look closely.

Her Daddy was right.

Just as her family was loading up to drive the 2 hours home Reilly took a bite or two from the Frosty's poor Carrot nose.

New Year's Eve

Here's the New Year's Eve Scrabble Game. Mom started it off with 72 points on her first play. Rodney and I never did quite catch up!

Uncle Blake took our guys and his Reilly sledding. (You'd never know Blake has a broken toe and thumb.)

Wipeout~!

Sledding cousins.

Almost into the creek!

Like my size 10 men's boots?

All three on one sled!

Whheeeeee

Hang on Gideon!

Rodney's turn... Julia has my camera...

OOOOOooo

LOOK OUT JULIA! She had to run for her life! The size 14's are coming at you FAST!

We could not get Reilly to quit!!

Uncle Blake had to grab the tree so they didn't go into the creek!

My turn!! It was tough holding those size 10's off the ground! We made it to the creek though. Oh, that's a Pennsy creek so you have to say it "crick."

Good times.

My Crazy Family!

O.K. Here's the line-up.
My oldest Brother Dane.

Corey is next.

Then Adam, Wendy, Austin and Eric.

Then Blake, Michele, Julia, Haley, and Reilly

Next is Trev, Sheri, Wyatt, Kaitlyn, and Andy

Then Brad, Missy, Rebecca and Ethan

Then the Southerns that say funny stuff like "Ya'll and yonder."

The Parents in their 52nd year of marriage.

I believe the last family picture was in 1984 or so!

Mom and her cool Mary Kay Sister Sandy.

Aunt Sandy's Daughter Parris and her family.

What a party! It was so much fun to see everyone and talk and laugh together... and get shot with nerf darts.... and eat duck, deer and who-knows-what kind of random wild game.

I have a crazy family, but I'm so SO blessed.... and I love 'em all.... Ya'll!!!

Family Christmas Party & Our Anniversary

Time to party with the Family. My brother Trev and his wife Sheri, hosted the get-together.

Here's the Smorgasbord..... buffet if you're not from the North!

Pappy seems to be enjoying himself.

Here's the basement, or "entertainment central." I should make a note here that Treavor built and designed his own house and it is doubtful that it will ever be fully complete! There is plenty of space for everyone though.

4 Brothers and my Sweetheart.

Aunt Sandy and Dane.

My cousin Parris with my Mom.

Typical Dad. :)

Scary Preacher. That was quite a Nerf weapon.

Something happened this year that has not happened since my Grandmother's funeral. All 7 of us were together in the same room! Let the pictures commence! I handed off my camera to Julia.

A fiasco ensued.

After several attempts we got a decent one. Although getting the guys in chronological order proved just too difficult! They do not cooperate.

Here's the line-up... not in order.

December 27th was also our 12th Wedding Anniversary! I am so blessed to have the best Husband in the world.
